Don’t Give Up on Your Clients: Lessons Learned from Revolving-Door Clients is a video blog post that explores a phenomenon that happens all too frequently in mental health agencies – sometimes even in private practices.

Have you ever had a client that comes in for treatment and then drops-out of treatment, sometimes repeatedly? These are the types of clients that I have termed revolving-door clients. (I don’t know if that is an actual term in the profession, just something that seems fitting in my experience as a therapist)!

Revolving-door clients can present challenges and frustrations for mental health practitioners. The question is, how do we deal with clients who present over and over again for treatment?
